One in 10 Australians are being bombarded with an avalanche of nuisance calls from potential scammers, a new survey has found.
just had a call from this number, male voice, when i told him he had the wrong number, he swore at me using the 'f' word. i was quiet shaken.
Lots of drops / silent calls from this is last few days. Sometimes can hear call centre type noise in the background. Have now blocked the number
Rung twice talked about investment tried to say I wasn't interested - women on phone told me to off. I was firm and polite. She was very rude. Caller was female with Eastern European accent
A very loud and cheery sounding lady with a South East Asian accent claiming to be Sarah from London, also mentioned that I hung up last time which is probably true if the call was as loud and pointless as this one. If it's a scam it's an incomprehensible one, probably just ignorant confused and . Certainly possessed of no redeeming features.
This number called today - I answered but no one spoke. I did a call back and it said I'd misdialled!

Called by man with eastern European accent. Asked for someone with Indian name. Then proceeded to tell me I'd been selected for some investment trial- even though I wasn't the person he was looking for!
Said he was from investing.com. Told him to get lost and put phone down. How do they think people are.
Used my mums first name saying this is James when we said mum doesn't know a James he got nasty saying he wanted to speak to her. The man was foreign likely Indian. Such a scumbag bloody people
Silent call, seemed to wait until I said Hello before hanging up.
I'm a member of the Telephone Preference Service so I reported the number to them.
They ring on a regular basis, i either hang up or ignore, they then ring you back from another number
Useless, want investment.
