Just answered a call from this Chinese lady, who said her name is Sin Ee Ling, sounding so convincing, insisted I made 2 transactions with my UOB card. I told her it’s impossible as I don’t even have any UOB account whatsoever. Gave me a number she said is Bank Negara’s and advised me to call and do what’s necessary to prevent further transactions, failing which UOB will reclaim amount from my other bank accounts! I called UOB call center and then found out there had been so many cases reported and sad to say there’s nothing the bank is able to do to prevent and stop it from happening..
got a call from this number, a guy claimed to be from UOB card center, telling me got a trxn happen at KL, funny as I was far far away from KL. then he changed tone and told me to check if cc still in my wallet, he will help me reject that trxn. then hanged up, really clueless of this call.
Terrible, I received call from the same number also. The facts that the guy disclosed exactly the same. He also give me BNM bahagian laporan number 03-92124181 .. I didn't call. Told him that I will go to the nearest UOB branch to verify. Actually I don't even had a UOB card .. funny.
Me too just received a call from this number, same Chinese guy claimed that I have a transaction done at Pavilion Tomei with amount 3.9k+ today. He managed to spell out my full name & IC number. But I never applied any cc from UOB, then he also told that I applied in Sep. I said I don't have any CC from UOB, I told the guy said I will call directly to UOB and verify this. Then keep on telling me he wants to give me some card info bla bla bla in order for verification. Eventually I hung up the call. Thereafter, I called the same number which is UOB call center and being informed it's a scam call. They already have other reported case and they'll investigate. BEWARE GUYS!
I got a continuous call from a chinese lady on 20 Nov 2017, claimed that i have an outstanding amount of 3.9k with UOB credit card. I told her i did not have any acc with uob but she insist i have an outstanding amount! Provide me a number to report to Bank Negara. Luckily my phone’s battery was flat and she did not follow up with her.
chinese guy called claiming from UOB, asking to verify a transaction made in pavilion with a credit card under my name. which is not my credit card number, but i do have c,c with UOB. He said that someone is using my name to apply this card since sept 2017 and i have outstanding balance, gave me a number to call bank negara to report this case. I asked why cant i call UOB directly, he said its already a fraud case, so uob needs a report from bank negara. what bull , i did call the scam number but luckily no answer and i called the REAL bank negara number, the officer said that this number is a scam!! beware guys...

I told him that I never apply for any uob creditcard and asked him better check with his database. I told him I'll log a report at police and he sounds very helpful to provide me the credit card numberand the date of application.

This is so scary and the scammer is another level up!
Received a call from a Chinese guy with this number. Claimed I had a transaction at KLIA which required my approval. Good thing that the amount he claimed to make transaction is bigger than my limit. So I replied to him that if this transaction can process just go ahead.
