I collect recycle for a living in Malaysia to support my partially deaf son. There this chinese excent guy name Alex Chu from UOB Bank 03-26128100 stating that i owe the credit card amounting close to RM 10,000 with two major transactions used in Johore Bahru and Kuala Lumpur Malls. There is one thing this Alex Chu told me calmly that I should call 1700817996 belongs to Malaysia Bank Negara IMMEDIATELY AFTER HE HANG UP to cancel the credit card and I don't have to pay a single cent for it. My collection per day for a living is RM20 how can I apply for Credit Card I told him. He told don't waste time MUST call this number immediately. Luckily I ask my bosslady about it. She told me it is a Scam from Macau which is so active lately. Please shared this message with everybody. Thank you for your time...
Picked this and argue with him whole morning. Same old trick, UOB fraud. Register at 5 Oct 2017 in JB (I said I never stepped in JB before) and register on UOB bank branch. I said how can anyone use a photocopy of my IC and walk in to sign up c.card in branch without scan fingerprint and etc? No CCTV? He insisted the transaction spend at 25 Oct KL Gateway - Huawei (3970.74) and today KLIA2 TOMEI (3997). Asked me call 03-92124181 Bank Negara to report. Checked and the phone he gave all not the accurate one. I asked his name and staff ID: Chan Kar Wei UOB - 53348. Sure is Fake.
dont pick up , i received the number too, is scamer
Same scammer again. A local accent Chinese guy called my mum hand phone, and claimed that I had a UOB credit card, provided my correct name and ic. But I said I don't had any account with UOB, and he became very rude and said how so impossible blah blah blah, sound very uneducated. So I hang up the phone. Later I found out same no from UOB website and called the bank to log report. Bank staff said I shouldn't confirmed my ic no. (Which I had when I first received the call). So the scammer can covered up their real number and show UOB call center no. So high technology. But they couldn't hide his uneducated losser background, you can tell the difference between real bank staff and scammer. Just be careful and alert very minute.
A guy just called my hand phone this morning. He can't even pronounce my name correctly so I just hang up. I doubt that some one had disclosed my data to the scammer so they will try to fish me ! Anyway we must be very careful when answer to those strange caller.
Scam number. Just made a report to BNM
i received a call from this number a moment ago... telling me that she is from UOB call center, asking me whether to approve a transaction of my credit card swipe at Pavillion for the amount of RM3900++....Since I do not have any UOB credit card, I just hang up the phone.....
just received a call from this number. clearly know my name. spoke in mandarin (malaysia tone) then telling that my UOB credit card having a transaction in KLIA 2. i hang up the call cos i do not have a UOB card.
I also received call from this number 60326128100 too. A Chinese guy(name: Mr Lee), have my full name with ic no. and claim that i have transaction now in KL gateway but now in Johor. I don't even have UOB credit Card. He asked me call to bank nagara 03-92124181 to make a report and request surat pengasahaan in order to terminate the credit card. Please do not give any detail to them. It's a scam. need to be awared. so scary.
It's a scam. A chinese speaking guy called me with this number and told me that there is a UOB credit card under my name with transaction RM3.9k + at Pavilion KL requires my verification before he can release the payment. I never had a UOB credit card before and therefore I asked him to proceed since that's not my credit card. Nowadays, credit card comes with 6-digit pin; funny that he is still using the same old trick many years back.
I got a call from +60326128100 and they claim that from UOB bank. I know I do not have UOB bank account so when they want to confirm my name I just told them that is not my name in fact they actually has my full name. So end up they say sorry due to wrong phone number...LOL
chinese guy called claiming from UOB, asking to verify a transaction made in pavilion with a credit card under my name. which is not my credit card number, but i do have c,c with UOB. He said that someone is using my name to apply this card since sept 2017 and i have outstanding balance, gave me a number to call bank negara to report this case. I asked why cant i call UOB directly, he said its already a fraud case, so uob needs a report from bank negara. what bull , i did call the scam number but luckily no answer and i called the REAL bank negara number, the officer said that this number is a scam!! beware guys...
