Scammers are spoofing bank phone numbers to rob victims
It can be a very convincing trick… “You can check the number in your display online sir. You’ll see I’m really calling from your bank.” That is, of course, if you are unaware that phone numbers can be spoofed. Then again, they wouldn’t be successful scammers if they weren’t convincing. If you suggest calling them…

Just received a telephone call from 03-26128111, a chinese guy claimed to be from UOB bank (cannot speak english) and passed to another colleague, a malay guy name En. Mohd Nasri Bin Mesai (Which i believe is a fake!!) told that i spend RM 2188.88 at a camera shop in KLIA 2 and asked me to authorise the transaction. He even claimed i signed up for the credit card sometime in December 2015 at Johore and made payment around RM 6+++ earlier. WtH... realizing is a effing scam, i told him that i will lodge a police report, he told me to calm down.. bla bla bla.. last few words i said to him was Shu+ Up and F*** Off..
Going to nearest police station and lodge a police report on the matter.
So to all... please beware!

I received call from 03-25587766 10:50am. A mandarin speaking guy said he is from UOB and call my name correctly. He asking permission for RM2k purchase I made in KLIA for camera. I told him I do not have UOB card, straight away he hang up. Scam, becareful.
Yes I just received the call by the same number saying I've spent 2K in KLIA. I tried blocking the number but from 0325587766, they use 006032558766, 000060325587766. They kept calling.
Received call from this number today. Mandarin speaking guy.
Same story as others, UOB credit card purchase at Nikon camera store in KLIA2, card applied in JB, card applied since January 2016, balance of RM6K++
Able to call my full name and NRIC. He hung up after I told him I will call UOB office personally.
I just received this call from a Malay gentlemen who named correctly, but I have his only English answer "Customer Service" after asking 6 time "Who is this calling from." I wanted to know which company in fact, and eventually he gave up talking to me.
I just received a phone call from this number saying he is from UOB. He got my name and IC correctly. Using the same trick, saying that I had made a purchase at Nikon in KLIA2. He hung up the phone after confirming my Identity Card (IC) number.
Feeling a bit suspicious, I called to UOB to double check with them, which turns out that the call could be a scam call.
Please be aware that by confirming our IC, we, sometimes, expose our identity for Identify Theft.
He called me just now, telling the same trick. I said I don't own any uob card n I hang up.
I have the same case as well, he said he is from UOB and asked whether I have swap card at KLIA2 around 4k plus today. Please be aware about this issue. He first said out my name, ic and even home address, seem like so true. Lastly he asked me to record down the card no. 4265 4834 1688 1907 and it is registered under JB, UOB Branch on 9/12/2015. The amount that I owe is around RM6311.33 for transaction made on 13/12/2015. The no who call me is 0325587766. Luckily i call uob centre to re-confirmed.
Please be aware this call.
