Received two texts in two days telling me my PayPal account been limited. PayPal aware of scam.

I called paypal. They said that are aware of the scam.
Had the same, PayPal account text message. Had my full name in it and obviously my phone number - no idea how they would have got all these details unless a legitimate company has forwarded my details when I've requested they don't (I always tick / untick relevant boxes) My number is also with the TPS so this is especially annoying.
Had 2 tx saying my PayPal account has been limited and click on the link. Total bullshit. Didn't click on link. Changed password as precaution

I received 3 messages from these guys. One was Check out Coles new android application and receive a 40 AUD voucher. Second one was similar. Third one was the speeding ticket one others mentioned. Do not click!
Got a text message reminder from this number stating it was from the "State Recovery Debt Office" and that I have been issued a speeding ticket dated 2 April. Then they provide a link to view the case (which you obviously don't wont to open). I think these people are getting my number off gumtree ads.
