Sheriff’s office warns of arrest warrant scam
Officials say the scammers identify themselves as a member of local law enforcement, even using the names of real detectives, and demand payment in the form of gift cards to avoid being arrested on a warrant.
Do not deal with this company. It's a complete scam. They will take your money and never leave you alone ever again.
numerous nuisance calls from this number despite being told on several occasions not to phone back.
Very much the same as the previous comments - will report to information commissioner etc.
Some very foreign woman called asking how old our boiler was. Said she was from Green Deal & they were doing a survey. When i told her a survey of Telephone Preference numbers would show we didn't want these calls she said it was not her responsibility to check. Wasn't happy when I told her that legally she was responsible for checking as she was the one making the call.
Call today from a female calling herself Emma, wanting to tell me about the Green Deal and asked how old boiler was.
Don't these people ever give up?
I get multiple calls from this number and when I answer no one speaks, I dont wish to return the call as I do not know who it is.
