Twelve people were arrested in Malaysia after they were suspected to be involved in a scam syndicate targeting Singaporeans, the Singapore Police Force (SPF) said on Sunday (Feb 19).

Received a call from this number claiming to be an investigation unit about "Your husband was involved in a shooting," with directions to contact John Marrison. As soon as I called them, I realized that it was a total scam. The guy asked me if I got a voice mail or email..?! People on the background calling.. Heavy ascent.. No protocols followed..
I asked him right out if he is a scammer, and he hang up. Please be aware and do not waste your time on this as*holes. Period.
