A Sydney man has been arrested, allegedly trying to flee the country after being involved with a million-dollar crime syndicate.
A bipartisan coalition of 48 state attorneys general, plus the DC attorney general, sued Avid Telecom on Tuesday, alleging that the company is responsible for billions of illegal spam calls, including calls to the phone numbers on the Do Not Call Registry.
I HATE this call, government sponsored boilers. It's the same as the solar panels one. I am registered with TPS and it does nothing to help. When it's unanswered, it goes on my answerphone. It was on there twice Friday alone and I wonder when I go away next, how much of the recording time will be filled with it. I notice it says press a number to speak to an adviser (without specifying the call charges for doing so) but no number to press if you want them to bog off and never call again. I tried calling the number from work but it doesn't connect.
