The phone number database and ratings are created by the users themselves. They can add their reviews either through the website or through the Call Insider app.
Comments are posted by the users of the website anonymously, so it is not possible to ensure their 100% trustworthiness. We, of course, get requests to remove comments on phone numbers stating that they are a tool of competition and they have been fabricated. We, therefore, reserve the right to delete comments or even disable comments for a particular number.
Every user can deactivate any comment until the moderators deal with it. Just click the bin icon in the bottom right corner, fill in a short form and confirm the email address where a statement on how the moderators dealt with the comment will be sent. The processing of such a request usually takes 1-2 weeks.
Person called first from a number with all zeros and told me I was receiving a grant from the US for 9,000 and that I needed to call this number 202-738-1160 so that I could receive the grant. I did not call the number and as I was calling the US Government to report the call, I received another call from a number with all zeros I did not answer and they did not leave a message. This happened today 7/9/14 at 8:15 am. The US Government would never call to tell you they have a grant for you nor would they give you a number to call that wasn't a free toll calling number. I knew right away it was fraud.
