BFSI, telecom most impersonated by scamsters for customer care frauds, says CloudSEK report
Telecommunications entities were the second most impersonated by scammers to carry out customer care number-based frauds in 2022 according to a report by CloudSEK, a digital threat identification and resolution firm.

This number rang saying our boiler insurance had expired. As we had taken out contract with BG last month I told the lady she was lying but she only laughed. We have been registered with telephone preference for years but it seems they don't take notice of that.
