They are still sending the scam emails as recently as 8 December.
I can confirm this is a hoax.
I work in the oil and gas industry. There is no such company as Melbourne Energies. They do not hold any permit holdings in the Canning Basin. Their address and all other details are copies of other websites (such as APPEA and Buru Energy).
Treat this phone number and website with extreme skepticism as it is a scam to get your personal information.
I got the same agreement as well as offer letter... its a fake for sure as company address is registered to Appea (http://www.appea.com.au/about-appea/contact/).... their site is also fake as i checked in registers of Australian competition and consumer commission... There is no such company exist.. they do not even exist in LinkedIn or Indeed or seek....They got no sites marked on google map and no such news you will find on internet...they are just doing this to get visa money and then they will escape.... please be aware and let everybody else aware of this fraud...
