Scammers are currently 'bombarding' the Irish public with phone calls, according to Newstalk's technology correspondent Jess Kelly.
They left a message (Melvin Decker) from the IRS stating that to avoid arrest, I needed to call back. Sounded very questionable but to see what they were up to, I called. Immediately got the message that the number was no longer in service.
