The telecom regulator has asked all telcos to deploy detection systems using artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) technologies to identify and rein in spam calls and text messages from unregistered telemarketers (UTMs).
Spam calls are annoying – suppose you are taking an important class or in a meeting and your phones start buzzing. You come out to take that call and realize it was just a promotional call or spam!

Recieveing texts from a doctors surgery I am not a patinet at/ live no where near. Looking at the other comments on here they seem to text a lot of wrong numbers. Doesn't seem to be linked to any scam or anything malicious.
