BFSI, telecom most impersonated by scamsters for customer care frauds, says CloudSEK report
Telecommunications entities were the second most impersonated by scammers to carry out customer care number-based frauds in 2022 according to a report by CloudSEK, a digital threat identification and resolution firm.

Woman named Kayleigh called me and left a voice message on my phone. Said she was from my Bank and she got the right one and the town correct. I had received several calls during the day and when I picked up no one was there they had hung up. I was so fed up of the calls that I ignored calls for the rest of the day and listened to my voice calls at the end of the day.
